Anonymous asked: I probably sound like a stupid kid, but do you think it's possible to be completely sure about your sexuality if you haven't yet lost your virginity, or if you've never even had a girlfriend/boyfriend? I'm pretty certain I'm a lesbian, but a lot of the time I feel like I don't really have the right to identify as homosexual until I've had more experience. I'm 15 (16 in 3 months), if that's relevant.
Yes, I do think that without heterosexual
intercourse you can know wether or not you actually are attracted to the same sex.
Ask your friends, did they need to make sure they liked boys before they had crushes on them? Naah, if you know, you know.
That being said, you can experiment both ways of course. If you like a guy and want to date him you can do that. But ultimately it’s up to you and how you feel. If you feel you need to experience something with a guy to really know that’s okay! But don’t feel like you have to.
Stay true to yourself :)
